July is Over!?! Already?!?
Woah
I guess that its just about as believable as the fact that Z is about to be 6 months old.
Crazy.

Did you ever wonder what to do when 2 children need mom both at the same time? It's a problem I've been solving with babywearing for years.

Sometimes at bedtime my big kid is wound up and running around, and it keeps my baby from being able to fall asleep. He's a goofy kid, what can I say.
This is a great solution for us. Check out the video in my new second album of instructional videos (linked in the new pic on the sidebar) that resulted in these photos.

Lion is in love with the his special new gift from his friend. It is wood, and really very perfect since Lion just went to the Air Show with his daddy and fell in love with all things airplane.

This wrap the kids are hiding under is called Zara Infinity. It is the perfect soft jeans blue, and so soft and cuddly.

This months saturday meeting was an amazing experience.
We did a bit of lending library maintenance together.

My dear friend is recovering from being hit by a car on her bike pretty well! Its been over two months now and mobility is her biggest issue. Her hubby is a super helper.

I'm pretty sure this Kozy Mei Tai was one of the first carriers ever donated to Ann Arbor Babywearers.

This was beautiful, a mama needing breastfeeding help and a La Leche Legue leader found each other at our meeting yesterday
All three parties were thrilled with their encounter.
Wrapping for Fun!
I have been so busy lately. Writing new classes, taking pictures, making instructional videos, and advocating for babywearing all over, that it has been hard to keep up. 3 babies keeps me busy on top of all of that! But, I love this blog and I’m so glad I have it to help me keep track of time as it passes too quickly. Becoming a chapter of Babywearing International is a process. Now I am officially a certified volunteer babywearing educator, the first major step. I am very excited we are moving forward in this process. I had a special celebratory wrap play date the other day and it was awesome, we are so excited to be VBE’s and soon, a chapter of the non profit organization Babywearing International!
Home With the Morses – and Out All Together!
The last few weeks have been filled with working, wrapping and writing. Hope you all were having fun too!

We have constant joy with this little one. The closeness of babywearing allows me to share in his joy even more.

Then she will all of a sudden realize that she is tired and going to fall asleep and starts to fight it.

Zephyr is a man on the move. He is looking like he will be my only early motor skills baby, and he is looking like he will crawl before 6 months

Thank you ERGObaby for your super awesome donations of an Ergo Sport and an Ergo Performance. So many people will be finding the ergo love at Ann Arbor Babywearers!

Summer Wearing in A2
Off to New York again! This time for a Babywearing Wedding!
I wonder if my devoted friends family and readers remember that I am ordained to marry people? See these posts:

I just love to help people have their special day.

The sweet bride picked me up at the airport after a perfect flight with my little Zephyr. I had to wake up really early to make my early flight, but Zephyr's sweetness made the time seem instant and like it was the middle of the day.

We spent the morning doing various flower and food and photo related wedding stuff. The baby boys always dominate though.

I love that getting ready for this wedding was a bit about what wraps we should all wear!
This family is in a Gold Ruby Linen Indio.

I borrowed a Slate silk indio 4 to officiate, and It was off to Central Park to the Conservatory Gardens!

So many beautiful wrapping and babywearing mamas were in attendance. So many beautiful babies, so many beautiful bellies, It was a joyful evening.

I love the way babywearing keeps a child in the action of whatever their parents are doing in the moment.

This is the garden that the family chose for the ceremony. I was in love the moment I saw it. Didn't you?

The sun came out for the ceremony, and it created the most perfect feeling of glowing peace and perfection.
My boys, naturally.

Sometimes, rarely, but sometimes. I dabble with the color of a wrap to tweak it to my liking. The wrap on the left of thescreen is Red/Beige Linen Swallows by Natibaby. The one on the right is a stripped version I produced from a dyed Red/Beige I bought. (someone else's experiment.
)

Lion is the perfect wrappee for this wrap. Its thick and wide and really hefty and Lion is almost 50 lbs. He is really softening it up nicely.

My sweet goofy oldest son is still my tiny wrappee in there. It occasionally comes out and I love to take advantage of it.

I much prefer my natural silk nino for him. It is the most divine soft wrap ever created and I love it.
Big Babies who used to be very tiny. :)
Family Reunion Weekend July 10th

We always have to bring our own food everywhere. I try my best to simulate what I think is going to be there, but in a form we can eat. This year the new cheese product Daiya, is making my life so much fun because now I can make Macaroni and cheese, taco salads, and cheesy potatoes in a much more convincing fashion.

We spent the evening with some friends lounging in their pool. It's quickly becoming a post reunion tradition
