A quick catch up for the end of the year. Plus the 1 year anniversary of our blog!

2007 black and white anniversary edition pfau. a new welcome addition to our collection.

Big Belly, my biggest boy, and Malawi Fish.

Lion asks every day when the baby is coming out, it's so sweet. πŸ™‚

I am so lucky to be a mamma who's big boy is home from school. Having Lion around more was just what I needed! He is so loving and giving me lots of extra kisses and smiles. We are both really enjoying "How to train your dragon" a super fun pixar movie that Nanna and Pappa introduced him to in Vail on their ski trip.

Pfau Pfilled Days abound around here. πŸ™‚

Baby Simone in April Indio

She's helping me (and Judah) get used to having a littler baby around:) Judah is still having a really hard time getting used to me wearing or holding other babies. Today was better than most. πŸ™‚

My most supportive wraps are getting used the most often for Judah-wearing. Petrol-ecru thick fish falls into that category for sure, and this nap was quickly achieved. πŸ™‚ Babywearing is so satisfying. πŸ™‚ I haven't felt very capable lately what with being huge and all, and it's nice to be able to put Judah to sleep easily this way.

A Wonderful prenatal on wednesday night confirmed that the baby is measuring perfectly, and I am on schedule to be giving birth at home sometime starting from Jan 23rd on. Β As long as all keeps going perfectly. Heres to that!!!!!!!!

Last Ann Arbor Babywearers of the year!

Over all I’d say that the revival of the group has been a success. Β Many many mammas have passed through the group, stuck around, helped eachother, and found help for themselves. Β My goals for the group next year are to grow our core members, become a chapter of babywearing international, and promote the group to the point of raising the towns level of awareness of how important proper babywearing is for infant development and parent bonding, preventing infant abuse, supporting breastfeeding success, and preventing post partum depression. Β The list goes on. Β Hence my endless devotion, which I hope will last a lifetime.

First order of business was to set up a wrap swing for the day. πŸ™‚ petrol pfau was the victim.

I did a little doll wearing in night rainbow 1.

After we were comfy and cozy, we helped a new mamma with her ringsling and moby.

He was fast asleep through every carrier change. 8 wks I think πŸ™‚

I love this wrapping "action" pic.

Quick efficient results. πŸ™‚ Kyle loves this moss linen gradation.

Jess is just starting to experiment with different back carries. This leo green has been a trusty wrap for her!

Agate looked beautiful on Steph. We love to help eachother and hold eachother's babies all morning at Ann Arbor Babywearers.

stephanie's older kids loved the wrap swing the most!

Super yummy dyed Tussah Silk Fish at the mall after a yummy lunch together.

Steph and I had so much fun shopping and geeking about wraps, and gushing to eachother about our children.

I am looking forwar to another year FULL of the joys of babywearing, and teaching babywearing. What could be a better blessing!

Christmas fun!

Christmas day Β was spent at the Morse’s in Novi. Β They accomadated our special diet needs so well with an awesome taco bar!

The tree was beautiful, and the presents lit the kids up as bright as the tree!

Grandma Love!

Yumm!! Thanks for the awesome gf-cf Christmas dinner guys!

And the wonderful warm family spirit.

Happy Holidays Everybody!

The next day, we went To Howell for another Christmas at Dommy and Pappa’s house.

More paper ripping fun!

Judah was stunning in her Christmas outfit.

The boys were thrilled to be staying with their Dommy that night.

I spotted one of lion's ornaments on the tree.

Both children adored playing there all day.

We had a wonderful turkey and Ham as well. This thomas train set has been awesome!! A real hit with both kids!

Lion and Dommy are an amazing duo! He looks forward to our visits there so much.

A few family shots

Boys came home, and holidays begin!

Which made for a really busy week! Β Sorry I’m a week behind everyone. I know you will all understand.

The day the boys came home from colorado was an adventure. Flight delays, cancellations, and a snowstorm made this all possible πŸ™‚ We enjoyed our new wraps very much till their arrival home. I can see this 2010 pfau excelling as a shorty, as I am loving it in a 4.

Had Lunch with dear friends the day the boys came home, before what I thought was going to be my trip to the airport. πŸ˜‰

It is a wonderful feeling to be together again! Lion was happy to be worn for about 3 days after getting home. Here we are in Lila Azzuro, and Kyle in Jade Deli LE.

Lion loved learning to ski, and returned happy and refreshed from his vacation.

32 weeks and counting! Both Lion and Judah were born at 37 weeks, so who knows, this baby could be here soon!

Judah is super excited to have her daddy back

Kyle is a wonderful teacher. πŸ™‚

My usual littlest first agenda. πŸ™‚ This is night rainbow girasol.

Brian and Simone in Rastamamma Girasol.

Barb caught a big one!!! Allen was comfy in petrol pfau I think. Pretty sure barb was too. We will have to have her submit a review. πŸ™‚

Mastering Babywearing is a real team effort.

We were so happy to see some old friendly faces! Lookie how they grow! I still think Linen Goldfish is one of the most stunning wraps Didymos has ever woven.

Mazzy and Judah have been loving playing together.

It was a busy meeting despite a last minute location change. It was huge!!!

Daredevil Daddy

The sheer joy of complete trust.

We switched which kiddos and wraps we were wearing after lunch.

Wearing any baby on the front is getting to be a hassle that require a special supportive type of wrap. This is Tussah Silk Fish. It does the job for sure!

Lion making a silly face in Jade royal. We are so happy to have the boys home!!!!

Weekend Ann Arbor Babywearers Meeting, with a special surprise.

Last Saturday was a wonderful meeting marked with little babies, pregnant to-be mammas and old friends. (with a sweet surprise)

FIrst order of business is always to get the smallest babies comfy first. πŸ™‚

Then on to the geekey wrap loving and comparing!! This Natibaby sweet place with cashmere is amazing.

I love the phases of the moon over the city scene on this wrap.

Barb and Mira tried a few different carriers this week instead of just wrapping. πŸ™‚

Admiring a beautiful gradation dye job on a Moss 55% linen by didymos

This is the littlest bean from the first pics today with her daddy. Aren't they the spitting image of each other? πŸ™‚

During the circle time where we introduce ourselves and our babies, my friends and group members presented me with these amazing blue box shaped presents for the coming baby!

I have never felt so honored and blessed as when I opened this amazing wrap that I have wanted so much, a bugundy pfau 4.

Sorry I gave you such a hard time Kyle. Β I hear that pulling this off was pretty tough, and thanks to everyone who helped organize it. Β Also my online friends who also donated to this amazing “baby shower” (for lack of anything else to call it) It really was an amazing special moment to open this card and to see all of your names. Β I was moved to tears. Β It keeps going. πŸ™‚

April indio 6, my other desperate desire for this new baby!!! You guys must understand, how special this was to see when I opened it.

It is a beautiful mixture of blue and green that shimmers a bit like dragon skin in the light. πŸ™‚ Thank goodness Judah was in the mood to be worn. πŸ™‚

This mamma to be is practicing with a doll. She's got a few more months to get it down and checked out this wrap to practice for the next few weeks.

Her partner too! It has been a daddy-ful day!! Too bad the boys had to miss it and be skiing in Colorado. :) I'm sure they were having a blast too.

Finn decided the Nati Sweet place was a sweet place to take a nap πŸ™‚

Next time Judah wanted "up" we chose our new Burgundy Pfau. Heaven in a ruck tied in front. Thank you again to everybody who helped make this possible and special by keeping it a secret. I really love you all!!

ok I have to brag, look what was in the card!!!!!! I get to design my very own custom grad!!!! I am so torn! What blank wrap? What colors? It is in constant debate now in the house. πŸ™‚

Super sexy stay at home mom shot! (Jade Plum is really lovely and low contrast too!)

It's nice to know your baby is warm when you step outside. See everybody soon!!!!

Ann Arbor Babywearers 12-14-10

We are still doing alot of wrapping late at night to put Judah to sleep. SHe is learning to play so hard, that she needs help winding down at night. Azure 55% Linen is sturdy and thick, very much a workhorse wrap.

A short cross carry under your coat is a great way to get about quickly in the winter. πŸ™‚

Trying on a Napsack Mei Tai with a beautiful 6 month old. πŸ™‚

The straps can be crossed in front because of their shape, or go under the arms backpack style.

Twins in 2 maya wraps. πŸ™‚ Happy guy!

Everybody in the group is practicing hard to get better at what ever they love to do. πŸ™‚

Buck Tied in Front with Neobulle Lou

Trying new things, and having a comfy time in Peacock old weave Girasol.

This daddy came with the intention of learning back wearing. He practiced with our doll first.

And then his own real little guy. πŸ™‚

Kyle stopped by for a snuggle, he is anticipating missing us very much when he goes to pick up Lion in Colorado this weekend.

Mira's winning smile in olive dyed Natty linen

Barb's winning smile in Ocean Ivy Pamir

Lauren saved some special fluffy mail for us to all share.

Her very special long time iso Kobalt Zimpt with wool indio πŸ™‚

Such a fun filled meeting!

We had a wonderful lunch in the mall, and Kalila and Judah were a riot!

Judah fell asleep in a Rebozo Back carry in Sears while I picked out character pj's for both kids. Superheroes for Lion and Sesame street for Judah:)
